The study, which looked at how laughter affects social relationships, found that those who laugh together are more satisfied with their marriage, find it easier to communicate with one another, and feel closer and happier.

The researchers theorized that laughter helps couples form stronger bonds because it helps to alleviate tension and build up feelings of intimacy, which in turn leads to a sense of closeness.

The stress of daily life will decrease

This was one of the first studies to show that laughter was good for you. The researchers found that women who laughed were more likely to be more satisfied with their relationships and life in general.

And there’s a biological reason for this: Laughter releases endorphins that make us happy. In fact, a study published in the Journal of Neuroscience shows that when women release endorphins during laughter, it leads to increased oxytocin levels. The hormone is associated with feelings of bonding, love, and attachment.

So, how can you make laughing together a part of your daily routine? Depending on your relationship and personalities – this can either be extremely simple thing to do that comes naturally, but for others it can be easier said than done. But either way everyone can laugh together.
